Top 10 Car Insurance Scams
Is this company that Im supposed to start working for a scam?
Im supposed to start working with a company called Prime home services, basically you go and clean windows and drain pipes. They want me to use my own car, to pick up a co worker and install a rack on the top to carry ladders. I told them I didnt want to put any ladders on it, and questioned if I would need to change my insurance policy because Im using it for company work. They said it shouldnt change your insurance. They also want us to go on the roofs of houses to clean gutters, without a safety harness or anything. I thought that by law a company is required to put you through training if you are to be working over 10 feet high? Are these guys even legit?
This sounds like a scam. Contact the better business bureau or your local chamber of commerce and ask about the company. Do a quick google on them and see if anything “scam” related comes up.
Unfortunately in today’s economy, people like yourself are often getting taken advantage of, so do a little research and you should do fine!
